Maryse Mathieu, M.Sc.

Evaluator and Consultant

Maryse Mathieu is a clinician nurse specialising in community health. She holds a degree in Nursing Sciences and a Master’s degree in Community Health with specialisiation in Programme Evaluation.

 

She has been practising as a nurse among several population groups (immigrants, the elderly, psychiatrics, emergency care, HIV-positive persons and vulnerable persons at the ITSS, children and adolescents) both as an authorised nurse and as a supervisor of nursing care and a clinician quality councillor. She has also worked as a research assistant for the University of Laval Chair on the transfer of knowledge and innovation, and collaborates continuously in evaluations of various Health and Social Service Departments in Quebec. 

 

Furthermore, Maryse has led several international development projects in Latin America, particularly in Nicaragua and Ecuador with the International Support Group Spiral, of which she was president for five years.
